Q: What age groups do you accept?
A: We accept 2, 3, 4 and 5 year olds for our preschool/Pre-K programs. We accept Kindergarten - 2nd grade for our After School Program.

Q: Does my child need to be potty trained in order to attend your school?
A: No, a child does not need to be potty trained in order to attend our school.

Q: What is the teacher/student ratio?
A: Our ratio in the two year old class is 1 teacher to 6 children. There are 2 teachers in the    two year old class. The ratio in the 3 and 4 year old classes is 1 teacher to 12 children.

Q: Can I visit the school at any time?
A: Yes, High Sierra Academy is an "open" school. You are welcome to visit your child at any time.

Q: What kinds of checks do you perform on your teachers?
A: All of our teachers have background checks through the Department of Justice through Livescan, as well as a complete health exam.

Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: We are open from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday  - Friday.

Q:  Does your school provide meals?
A:  Our school provides two nutritious snacks a day.  Parents send their children with a lunch each day. The children are not allowed to share food.
